Glazed Earthenware Water Fountain, Provence, Biot? Early 19th Century, Folk Art Pottery.

Provençal fountain, certainly from BIOT, early 19th century.
Amazing table fountain in glazed earthenware, marbled green with copper and manganese oxide.
Finely prepared white earth.
The pedestal and the body of the fountain are separated into two original parts.
Decorated with a couple on the front and three birds on the lid, in the round.
On each side, birds and faces in applique.
The drainage hole comes out of the mouth of a dolphin.
Three friezes in relief surround the fountain, foliage at the level of the faces, gadroons at the base of the body and rais-de-coeur at the base of the pedestal.
Note, missing parts on three of the characters' feet.
Small chips and touches in different places.
Small restoration on the head of the main bird on the lid.
Good general condition.
Additional photos on request.
Delivery to be considered by carrier.
