Sarthoise terrine in glazed clay,
late 18th early 19th century, candle decoration,
violin shape, digitized floral decoration, digitized lid handle and handles, guilloché border around the terrine, varnished on all sides.
Good condition, normal traces of use.
Note: a small fel before firing on one side that the potter has sealed; this type of restoration is found on shaped pieces.
