He finally joined forces with his father-in-law, the sculptor Pierre-Jules Mène (1810-1879). Here, a patinated bronze candle holder with hands depicting an antique Roman foot. Many of his works can be found in public buildings, museums, parks and gardens (Louvre, Chantilly, Fontainebleau, Tuileries, Luxembourg Gardens, etc.). Unsigned piece but model known to the artist.
