Casserole "with Turtledoves" Magic Illusionism
Magic!! This copper pan dating from the beginning of the 20th century. Composed of three compartments: a pan with a handle, a counter-base and a well-domed lid with a handle. The trick of this magic trick lies in having previously hidden in the counter-base under the lid: a turtledove, a dove, a small rabbit or any other object of your choice, the magician used to ignite the pan which he came to smother with the lid where the turtledove was hidden. With a simple rotation movement, the lid detached from the counter-base revealing the animal. In the 1900s, magicians could find such objects from the supplier Charles De Vere, inventor and manufacturer in Paris. Pan length 50cm with the handle / diameter 26cm. Lid diameter 31cm. Total height 14cm.
