"Pair Of Silver-plated Bronze Candlesticks – Goldsmith Auguste Monnier Veuve, 1911"
Elegant pair of silver-plated bronze candlesticks, signed by the silversmith Auguste Monnier Veuve, active in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century. Model inspired by the Louis XVI style, with a baluster shaft with canted sides decorated with shells, resting on a stepped, scalloped base. Work from 1911, combining balance and brilliance. The silver plating is well preserved, with a uniform patina, and some signs of use.
