A set of two colored, double-layered cut crystal glasses, made by Baccarat, model number S1136, dating from the late 19th century, circa 1890. Each glass features a colored overlay (amethyst, green, yellow, amber, pink), highlighted by a deep cut decorated with stars and diamond points, characteristic of Baccarat's decorative repertoire of this period. The finely cut stem and star-shaped foot lend the set great elegance and a luminous display of the crystal. The crystal has a beautiful resonance, clean and regular cuts, and proportions typical of Baccarat's late 19th-century production. The set forms a harmonious suite.
