Beautiful key, good size and good quality, for a strongbox or one of those utility chests that were carried twice a year from the Court of Versailles to the provincial residence under French Regency
Model is interesting, with these two bits symmetrically arranged like wings of a butterfly.
Solid stem ending as button, (7.5mm), heart-shaped ring, thick and curved, rectangular bits with open holes, small muzzle barely protruding.
Good condition, beautiful dark patina, light wear, no flaws.
