Museum: Strasbourg, 1750s: Soft-paste Porcelain, Signed, Hannong
Artist: Famille Hannong
Nice find,
covered spout, Hannong soft paste, signed in blue underglaze, so probably between 1751 and 1754
The pourer is pretty, unusual shape with this raised shoulder handle and tall lid, little wear or scratches, allowing us to appreciate the beautiful glaze milk tint, and fading of blue. A chip on spout, however, and a few mini chips underneath.
19.5cm x 11cm, weight: 400g.
Very rare item.
