"George III Period Solid Mahogany Pedestal Table"
George III (England) solid mahogany tripod pedestal table. Polylobed cabaret top carved from a single piece of mahogany (the center is hollowed out to reveal the edge molding). A small restored crack in the edge. The three arched legs rest on their casters and support a turned baluster-shaped column. The top is tilting, it is equipped with its original mechanism. Circa 1780.
