A very fine 18th-century George III period mahogany tripod table. This table consists of a solid well figured mahogany tilt top, with pie-crust edge, above a turned baluster-form column. This fine quality Georgian table is raised on well-drawn outswept carved cabriole legs that terminate in fine ball and claw feet, retaining a good original color and rich patination. The tilt-top includes the original catch and dates to circa 1770.
