"Bleuette Doll Unis France - First Period (1905-1933)"
Bleuette Doll – First Unis France Period (1905–1933) Created by Gautier-Languereau to accompany the famous magazine La Semaine de Suzette, this doll embodies the ideal of the little French girl of the early 20th century. More than a toy, Bleuette introduced generations of young girls to the art of sewing thanks to the patterns published in the magazine. This rare model, dating from the first Unis France period, is in composition with the signs of wear typical of antique dolls. She has articulated arms and legs, a porcelain head marked "Unis France" followed by a number "71 301 1/9", sleeping glass eyes and an open mouth revealing finely hand-painted teeth – a characteristic of high-end models. Her original wig appears slightly trimmed, likely with scissors over time. She is wearing a knitted red top, a beige skirt and a pale salmon dress, all handcrafted at the time. Highly sought after by collectors, this Bleuette embodies the history, elegance and emotion of a bygone era. Dimensions: 26 cm long (10.24 inches), 10 cm wide (3.94 inches).
She bears the number 2 between her shoulders.Discover all our pieces in video on Instagram for a fully immersive experience : les vieux seigneurs.
