Baccarat Crystal Centrepiece – Geisha Subject, Circa 1900 Exceptional Baccarat cut and pressed crystal centrepiece, featuring a rare and delicate geisha figure, finely sculpted in satin-finished crystal. This spectacular piece, typical of Baccarat's luxurious production at the end of the 19th century, is distinguished by: A central frosted crystal figure representing a standing geisha, dressed in a kimono with finely worked pleats, traditional hairstyle raised, in an elegant posture. A circular base richly decorated with geometric friezes in relief. An upper bowl in clear cut crystal, surrounded by an engraved decoration with a Greek or Japanese motif, housing a large cone in the shape of a lotus flower or trumpet, also in blown crystal.
