Object description :

" Louis XVI Style 4-leaf Screen "
- Louis XVI style four-leaf folding screen in carved and mahogany-stained beech. 20th century work.

- This two-sided folding screen is composed of four beech leaves whose frames are delicately carved with a frieze of heart-shaped rays. Equipped with hinges along their entire height, the leaves can be arranged with great freedom, thus offering multiple furnishing possibilities.

- The four leaves are, in the lower part, covered with a stretched fabric in orange tones which elegantly matches the warm mahogany color of the wood. This fabric is adorned with matching passementerie, a golden yellow braid which underlines its outline.

- The upper parts are glazed, imitating glass, thus ensuring that natural light does not diminish. The smoky tint of these panes offers a successful association with the range of warm colors chosen for this piece of furniture.

- Dimensions of a sheet - Height: 154.7 cm, Width: 57.3 cm

- Dimensions of the unfolded screen - Height: 154.7 cm, Width: 229.2 cm
