Pair of Satsuma porcelain vases. Circa 1880. Polychrome enamel decoration on a white ground with gold highlights depicting two palace scenes in cartouches, surrounded by flowering trunks of peonies, blue, red and white chrysanthemums, and birds. High friezes with polychrome geometric decoration enhanced with gold. Good condition.
