Robert "Mouseman" A fruit bowl. Robert "Mouseman" Thompson, hand-carved from oak and adorned with a beautifully carved mouse in its center. Robert "Mouseman" Thompson (7 May 1876 – 8 December 1955), also known as "Mousey" Thompson, was a British cabinetmaker. He was born and lived in Kilburn, Yorkshire, England, where he established a business manufacturing oak furniture, adorned with a carved mouse on almost every piece. Excellent condition. This rare piece measures 29.5cm in diameter. 5.5cm high. It dates from the beginning of his workshop, presence of the 4 "pegs" for the maintenance of manual manufacture.
