This large and wide vase, probably a former cauldron from the Kashkai culture of ancient Persia, dates from the 19th century. It features magnificent copper and bronze engraving, in very good condition. Intertwined plants, flowers, and scrolls fill almost the entire surface of this utilitarian object, creating a highly elaborate epigraphic decoration.
