DROCOURT travel clock large strike/silence/small strikeThis clock is a model created by the DROCOURT house 28 rue Debelleyme on the occasion of the 1900 universal exhibition, it was presented out of competition. The key is original (openwork in the center 1900, the original transport box bears the inscription universal exhibition 1900 out of competition on the inner velvet of the lid. The escapement is English anchorThe movement (striking and hourly rate) works on 8 days, so the time and the strike must be wound every week. The clock has been completely restored, the cage and the movement were dismantled piece by piece, cleaned and reassembled. Its operation is guaranteed by our watchmaking workshop. The photos are not retouched: the object is prettier in real life than in the photos, no bad surprises, it is a choice on the part of our workshop. All work carried out on this clock are carried out in compliance with the ethical rules of restoration of watchmaking objects, that is to say without modification or embellishment of the timepiece and using for lubrication high-end mineral or synthetic oils and greases (Moebius...) PRECAUTIONS AND ADVICE: it is advisable to handle the clock with cotton gloves to avoid oxidation of the gilded brass by sweat from the fingers (if fingerprints, you must immediately wipe it with a soft cloth without product), carefully respect the direction of the arrows for setting the time and for adjusting the alarm chime). It should not be exposed near a heat source (operating fireplace, radiators, halogen spotlights, sunlight) There is no work to be planned on this beautiful clock. The next service should be done in 7 to 10 years (aging of the oils, which oxidize, causing wear on the pivot points) All reasonable purchase proposals will be examined and will receive a response. Keep in mind the work carried out and the rarity of this clock
