Italian Gilded Foliate Mirror With Putto 1800s with a gilded, carved frame, square in shape surmounted by the head of a carved winged putto, al laquered head of angel framed by a rich garland of laurel leaves with festoons flanking the sides of the frame.The interior size is 17.5 cm x 15.8 cm and is centered by an antiqued mirror with a break in the upper left side. The frame has minor carving losses as documented in the photo gallery. It comes from a private collection in Milan and is of Italian origin, northern Italy, dating from the early 1800s.
