"Mars And Minerva XIX"
Pair of walnut statuettes representing the Gods of War: Mars and Minerva. They were executed in the 19th century in the spirit of the 17th century. Beautiful quality of sculpture, beautiful rendering of the draperies. Good general condition, note a restoration to the plume of Minerva, and a lack at the back of the base.
