Puiforcat: 12 Solid Silver Teaspoons, Neo-renaissance Spearhead Model. 19th Century

Superb set of teaspoons in the rare Fer de Lance model by the Puiforcat silversmiths.

The spoon is trilobed, with Renaissance-style fleuron motifs reminiscent of halberd blades or cathedral fittings.

A similar motif can be found in the center of the stem and on the back of the spoon.

Each piece is hallmarked:
. Minerva, 1st grade, before 1973 for 950/°° silver.
. Silversmith's mark: EP with a penknife for the Puiforcat house, founded in 1820 by the brothers Emile and Joseph-Marie Puiforcat.

Superb and very elegant cutlery. The Fer de Lance model is one of the most popular and sought-after pieces from the Puiforcat house.
