Clock In Marble And Gilded Bronze Napoléon III
Elegant Napoleon III period clock, circa 1880. Made of gilt and
chiseled bronze, finely decorated with candlesticks, plants, and an
antique-style vase with scrolled handles. The domed white enamel dial
is decorated with a colorful floral garland painting and its finely
crafted gilded hands are protected by domed glass. The curved base is
made of white Carrara marble, set with scrollwork on all three sides.
Original, unmodified mechanism. The hour and half-hour strike is on an antique bell.
