"Gilded Bronze Castle Staircase Banister Ball - Louis XVI Empire Style - Maison Fontaine"
Large castle or mansion staircase banister ball in chiseled and gilded bronze with fine gold, rich pine cone decoration in Louis XVI or Empire style. Late 19th century. It bears the FT signature of the Fontaine house, a great Parisian bronzier active at the end of the 19th century during the Belle Époque. Beautiful decorative object in excellent condition, ideal for decoration or restoration projects of ancient monuments. Placed on a marble base, as illustrated in the last photo, it can also be a beautiful decorative object. Height: 16cm Base diameter: 6.3cm Diameter at widest: 8cm
