Bronze Sculpture “two Dancers”, Kostas Dikefalos (born In 1956), Signed
Artist: Kostas Dikefalos (b.1956)
Bronze sculpture "Two Dancers" by Kostas Dikefalos (born in 1956).
Beautiful from every angle and signed.
Kostas Dikefalos was born in Zakynthos in 1956. He studied sculpture with Yannis Pappas, Thodoros Papayannis, and Giorgos Nikolaidis, as well as ceramics with Giorgos Georgiou at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1976-1982).
His works have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Greece.
He has also exhibited internationally, including at the Rencontre des Pays Méditerranéens in Marseille in 1985 and the International Sculpture Competition at Fukuhara University, Japan (1996), where he won first prize.
He is known for his meticulous work and his pursuit of clarity of form. This work is a perfect illustration of this. His compositions extend vertically or horizontally, allowing light to trace surfaces and emphasize volumes, which often suggest continuous movement.
During his diverse career, he has collaborated with other artists on public monuments and participated in competitions; he received second prize for the Greek Resistance memorials in Amfissa (1986), Halkida (1987), and Holargos (1988).
