"Figure Songye Luba"
This Songye-Luba statue, arms raised to the sky, exudes a striking symbolic force. At its center, an engraved circular disc brings together motifs that appear to be powerful symbols: a crescent moon, Star of David, an eye, an axe, a cauldron, a blade, and a small Songye mask in the center. At the back, two finely carved lizards crawl along the back, evoking rebirth, regeneration, and mediation between worlds. This work fuses Songye (ritual force) and Luba (esoteric knowledge) traditions, embodying an initiatory presence with multiple symbolic interpretations.
