War Mace - Melanesia / Vanuatu
Vanuatu is a country in the South Pacific, more precisely in Melanesia. Composed of about 80 islands that extend over 1,300 kilometers, the different cultures that this archipelago shelters offer a great wealth in its artisanal and artistic productions. We will then see different types of ceremonial or war clubs. We will then notice the beautiful patina of use that runs through this wood ribbed by time and its users. The singular shape of the extremity of this weapon is reminiscent of the shape of our modern stocks.
