Also known as a ‘calumet tomahawk’, this tomahawk features a European-imported wrought-iron blade decorated with an openwork design comprising a stylised heart and two fangs.
On the opposite side, the pipe bowl forms a protrusion with a flanged rim.
The wooden pipe stem also serves as the weapon’s handle; it is carved and studded at the distal end, whilst the proximal end serves as the blade tip.
