"Art Deco Period 1930s Side Table, Fully Restored "
I have the pleasure to offer for sale this rare piece of furniture in the Art Deco style and period. This is a Belgian work circa 1930 attributable with great certainty to the Maison De Coene Frères in Kortrijk. It is a sideboard with its bar of a very original and elegant shape close to the appearance of a beautiful console. This piece of furniture was made at the time with the greatest care both in terms of finishes and in the choice of materials. It has two doors on the front framing a flap in the center. It was made of rosewood and lemonwood veneer, two doors framing Ceylon for the light parts. The body of the furniture is supported by two legs connected by a crosspiece. The edge of the legs is trimmed with an original polished aluminum blade matching the very typical Art Deco circular lock entries. The two-tone appearance of the furniture as well as its suspended side give it a lot of originality and elegance. This piece of furniture has been completely restored and repolished with a buffer and is therefore in near new condition. The three keys are present. The legs are removable (screwed and not glued) to facilitate transport.
