Marks:
- On the lid : incompletely legible hallmark of Jacques COSTES received master around 1670.: crowned heart / garland / IC.
- Under the lid : Countermark with the crowned initials I.(-), made incompletely legible by the striking of the hallmark above. It could be that of Jacques COSTES creator of his own mold
Height: 24.3 cm.
BORDEAUX, Circa 1700
Rare, in perfect condition, of good quality and early period.
Jacques COSTES died in 1694, his widow continued the activity until 1711
