Three winged cherubs are arranged in a triangle around a central axis, caryatid style, each with a distinct, painted and finely modeled face.
The stylized wings, drapes and foliage are carved and covered with gold leaf gilding enhanced with red-brown and black polychromy. This is probably a console, altar corbel or altarpiece element.
A work from southern Europe.
Dimensions: 67 cm high by 45 cm wide.
Good condition - some losses.
