"Neo-impressionist School "boats At Anchor In The Small Harbor""
Neo-Impressionist school. Oil on panel "boats at anchor in the small harbor" bears a signature (apocryphal?) A. Bachelin. Foreign school. 26.5 X 35 cm. Auguste Bachelin (1830-1890). Our painting was painted on a panel that seems to have been produced at the very end of the 19th century or at the very beginning of the 20th. The technique seems quite close to that of Bachelin at the end of his life, although this one is less precise and at the same time more modern. The rendering is nevertheless quite successful. It's up to you to judge. Wooden frame and modern gilded stucco (accidents in the top right corner on the border). Two small lacks of material at the level of the foliage of the tree at the top right of the composition. 380 euros
