On the counter-lock side, the wood is dated 7bre 1780, date of reception of the finished weapon, and bears the initial A of the inspector Argout (in charge from 1777 to 1781) and the B with the fleur-de-lis of the controller of the finished weapon Boulanger (in charge from 1763 to 1784).
