Rare Makeig-jones Wedgwood Lustre Vase, Lung Ma, Violet, C.1915, Investment

A superb and rare Wedgwood lustre vase by Daisy Makeig-Jones, decorated with the highly collectible Lung Ma (Dragon Horse) pattern in vibrant violet glaze. This is an early Makeig-Jones design, predating full Fairyland Lustre production—examples are very scarce and in high demand. Interest in Makeig-Jones’s ceramics has grown sharply in recent years, with auction prices rising and collectors competing for top examples.
Gilded dragons around the neck, rich opalescent glaze, gold Portland vase mark, “England” and impressed star to base. Height: 12.3 cm.
