Alain Bonnefoit, born in Paris in 1937, is a French painter, lithographer, designer and sculptor. He studied art in Paris and Brussels, he studied sculpture with Antoniucci Volti and thanks to the latter, he moved towards representations of nudes that he created inspired by the Japanese technique of "sumi-e, (drawing in Indian ink where a single freehand line is used for an entire drawing).
