Old & authentic oil on canvas, presented in its original wooden and gilded stucco frame. Represents a bouquet of flowers and an antique amphora. Typical work of the Second Empire Signed by the artist Hippolyte Ballue (1820 -1867) student of the painter Narcisse Virgilo Diaz. He exhibited in particular at the Salon from 1842 to 1851. Overall in very good condition, note a small lack. The frame measures 34.5cm x 29cm The stretcher measures 21.5cm x 16cm
