Circular wooden box with tortoiseshell rim, both sides domed, the lid inlaid with silver or silver-plated metal presenting an ornamental network with concentric motifs of festoons and flowers. The interior with tortoiseshell rim (small accidents), the swollen edges, the lid lined inside with a scene with an erotic subject representing the hero Herakles-Hercules, recognizable by lion skin and his club, with one of his many female conquests. There are small cracks on the lid. An object in a good general state of preservation, with an amusing and naughty subject.
