A silver-gilt sewing set in a marquetry wooden case decorated with mother-of-pearl foliage and brass stringing. The scissors and needle case are silver-gilt and hallmarked with a boar's head. Hallmarks are not found on the thimble or embroidery awl. The scissors are in very good condition with sharp blades. The thimble is neither pierced nor dented. The case is in very good condition and measures 12.6 cm in length.
