"Bronze Sea Swallow, Irenée Rochard"
Bronze on its black marble base, representing a sea swallow. Around 1930. The artist knew how to give a superb momentum to this bird in full flight combining softness and elegance.
The work is not signed but can be attributed with certainty to Irénée Rochard, animal sculptor close to Pompon, born in 1906 and died in 1984.
Dimensions: from beak to tail 22cm, wingspan 39cm.
