Bronze with nuanced antique green patina - good condition. Danji Seto - Born in Nagano Prefecture. After graduating from agricultural and commercial school, he worked in a sake store, then moved to Tokyo in 1924. He studied painting from 1927 to 1929, then returned to his hometown to become an elementary school teacher. He was a primary school teacher for 11 years. At the same time, he studied sculpture and exhibited. From 1933 onwards, he regularly won awards. He continued his career while still being a farmer. From 1949 he was regularly selected (for about 30 years) for Fine Arts exhibitions. Works at the Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo (MOMAT) - The Tatsuno Art Museum holds dozens of pieces.
