Rare miniature representing a bust of a self-portrait of a painter, from the school of Hyacinthe Rigaud. Portrait of a man of quality wearing a wig, wearing a black satin coat and a white silk shirt, standing out against a neutral background in shades of gray. Miniature fixed on a tortoiseshell box with a shell and scroll motif, on the underside a quilted decoration with inlays of a scattering of stars. Some losses to the decoration, a small crack on the periphery
