Beautiful Louis XVI period flat desk in rosewood and palisander veneer, with a sheathed base and Greek meander decoration, as well as gilded bronze ornamentation. The old leather of the desk is gilded with small irons and has been preserved in its used condition. Stamp of Jean Baptiste Henry, received as a master on January 4, 1777 and practicing on rue Saint Nicolas in Paris.
