Large Flat Desk Louis XVI Period
We present for sale this large flat desk, mounted on oak and walnut, in veneer wood decorated with Greek motifs in marquetry. This piece of furniture is a Middle piece of furniture, on the main front two drawers, with keyholes in gilded bronze. We had a pretty sheath leather fitted by us, decorated with golden vignettes. At the start of the feet, pretty gilded bronzes, rough and discreet, the veneer is in rosewood. Note on the rear part a slight imperfection: a slightly veiled foot, barely visible to the naked eye, but we prefer to point it out. Very functional piece of furniture by its dimensions and its sober and decorative side. (E YA207)
