Cardboard covered with a fine sky blue cloth, bordered on the upper part with an officer's braid in silver braid 2.8cm wide.
It is decorated on the front with a hunting horn in gilded brass, a cockade in tricolor fabric and a silver braid held by a button in gilded brass.
Chin strap made of a gilded brass chain and black leather. It is held on the shako by three lion masks in gilded brass.
Visor in thick black leather bordered with a gilded brass.
Linner in black leather and silk bearing the initials of the officer "HG".
Beautiful parade plume for "chasseur à cheval" officer made of black feathers with green highlights and a silver braid olive.
This shako is also equipped, for service and combat, with its officier silver braid pompom contained in a small cardboard box.
Rare in this near-new condition.
