steel pike for positioning without burning yourself and maintenance.
These combined lighters are quite rare.
This one, according to our reference book, (last photo) would be French, 17-18th century.
Cradle hammer is heavy, thick, openwork, marked with a capital I.
At its end, a riveted axis for this hardened steel pike, which follows the cradle shape and houses its point in openwork.
Handle, which also forms pliers, thanks to a strong spring, is made of cast bronze or brass. Double-sided and chiseled, it is a mermaid with scaled tail.
This little tool is very rare, I have not found it in documentation.
