Child's L.xvi Walnut Cabriolet Armchair
Lovely Louis XVI child's cabriolet armchair. In molded and carved walnut, with tapered and fluted legs. The armrests are "cavet" and the trapezoidal backrest in a gendarme's hat. Beautiful decoration of friezes of eggs, acanthus and small flowers. It is upholstered in old-fashioned horsehair and covered with an old tapestry with a bird decoration. Note, a piece of a back leg has been glued back. Very good condition. 19th century.
