"Pair Of Clear And Pink "overlay" Cut Vases"
In the style of an amphora on a pedestal, here is a pair of cut glass vases using the so-called "overlay" technique. This means that this vase originally has two layers of glass, clear first and then a layer of pink glass on top. The latter is partially removed during cutting, revealing the clear glass, creating graphic effects. These vases are of English origin and date from the first half of the 20th century.
