The lid, spout, neck and handle of this jug, all in solid embossed and chiseled silver, borrow from the Renaissance an abundant decorative plant vocabulary, forming faces, which is reminiscent of the work of Giuseppe Arcimboldo. This set crowns a cut crystal decanter under the base. This English Victorian jug is in perfect condition.
