Antique Draper's Table, Late 19th Century

Conveniently raised to worktop height, the black leather-covered top does not, however, make this table a desk. For a draper, such leather prevents small splinters from damaging precious fabrics. Furthermore, the curiously turned legs allowed ribbons and braids to be kept within easy reach. This draper's table is in very good condition.
