Carved, gilded and polychrome panel in homage to Saint Luke. Beautiful sculpture for this architectural gilded wood panel in the Renaissance style. On either side an athlete carrying a standard, one crowned with a braid of laurels, the other with a braid of piastres, the top of the oval medallion is topped with a cartouche surrounded by laurel branches, on the lateral parts under the athletes bunches of fruit and branches tied in a bouquet, in the center of the base, a lambrequin drapery dresses a mascaron with a grotesque head. The oval medallion is painted with a homage to Saint Luke, with his attributes, the book and the ox. 19th century period.
