Dial signed "Galle rue Vivienne in Paris" In perfect working order, restored movement. Claude Galle: (1759-1815) One of the most eminent bronze makers of the late Louis XVI and Empire periods. He supplied the majority of the furniture bronzes to the Chateau de Fontainebleau but also for the palaces of Saint Cloud, the Tuieleries, Compiègne, Rambouillet etc.....
