Neapolitan style mandolin with pegs from the late 19th century with a domed back made up of 15 alternating ribs of maple and rosewood. The table is in varnished spruce with a rosette decorated with a frieze. The protection plate is in rosewood with a reminder to accommodate the strings at the bottom of the table. A delicate ebony and mother-of-pearl fillet surrounds the entire perimeter of the table. The strings at the base of the instrument are attached to buttons and bones. The pegbox is pierced with 8 ebony pegs with bone tips. The upper nut is in ebony as is the fingerboard furnished with 14 metal frets. With a scale length of 32 cm, this mandolin is perfectly playable with a very comfortable action.
